If the terminal displays one of the following error messages, take the recommended action. If that does not clear the error, contact Merchant Services.

| If the terminal is configured for dialup,
reset the terminal. If the terminal
is not configured for dial-up, contact
| “No Connection”
“No Phone Line!”
“No Dial Tone”
| Confirm that the terminal’s
telephone line is plugged in
correctly at both ends. Confirm that
the telephone connection works by
connecting it to a dial-up telephone.
| “Error Opening Config File”
“Invalid Modem Response”
|Reset the terminal.|
| “Double Card Swipe; Must
| Restart the transaction by pressing
star. Swipe the card only once before
selecting a menu option.
|“Card Invalid”||Try another card; send the failing
card to InComm.
